What data-only devices are approved for use with GSMA high-usage, flat-rate or unlimited plans?
GSM-A utilizes LTE Bands: 2 (1900MHz), 4 [66] (1700MHz), 5 (850MHz), 12 [17] (700MHz), 14 (FirstNet 700MHz), and 30 (2300MHz)
GSM-A utilizes 5G Bands: n5 (850MHz), n66 (1700MHz), n77 ("C-Band" 3.7-4.2GHz), n260 (39GHz)
High-Usage & Flat-Rate LTE Plans:
Nearly any device should work with this plan. Ideally it should be new to the AT&T network (has not been used with another account).
Flat-Rate Plan Exceptions (not eligible for use on flat-rate/high-usage plans):
- T-Mobile branded hotspots (such as Alcatel Linkzone, ZTE Z915, ZTE Z917, MF64 etc) are not compatible with high-usage, flat-rate or unlimited plans and can only be used on limited data plans (2 to 22GB).
- AT&T branded hotspots (such as ZTE MF275, MF279, Novatel 66xx etc) may have mixed results, but should not be activated on GSM-A at all.
- Netgear LB1120 (As of November 1, 2021, lines found to be using this device may be disconnected by the carrier without warning, notice or recourse).
- Nighthawk M1 (MR1100-1A1NAS, MR1100-2A1NAS) (
